David M. Thomas was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and is presently a resident of Canton, Ohio, and is married with seven children.

David graduated from Walsh University with a B.A. Degree in 1985, and received his Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University School of Law. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1988 and began his practice in Canton, Ohio with Day-Ketterer, Raley, Wright & Rybolt. In January 1998, he was a founding member of the law firm Zollinger, D’Atri, Gruber, Thomas & Co. and is presently a principal in the firm. He has been a licensed agent for approximately 10 years and is a part owner and President of McKinley Title Agency Inc.

He is a member of the Stark County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Ohio State Bar Association.
